Dielectric carpets – are used as an additional precautionary measure in closed electrical installations with a voltage above 1000 V, except in damp rooms, as well as in open electrical installations in dry weather. The products have a corrugated surface, withstand a test voltage of 20 kV AC, purity of 50 Hz. Two groups are made: group I – for work at t from -15 to + 40 ℃, group II – oil-resistant – for work at t from -50 to + 80 ℃. Shore hardness 50-60 units.
